An amazing way to round up E3 The show opened with an orchestral performance of a dark theme that I happened to have a hunch about; could it be God of War ?! God of War. You heard that right. Many would remember from GoW III Kratos' fate appeared sealed - but not for long; our hero is a demi-god after all.  No explanation needed for resurrection.  In a fantastic ten-minute demo, a young boy (who turns out to be Kratos' son) learns the ropes of survival.  The perspective of the game has shifted from a distant-view third-person, to a closer camera which becomes far more immersive and is very appropriate for God of War IV .  Did I mention Kratos has a beard? Brand New Franchises  Days Gone is a new zombie apocalypse franchise that looks crazy; even more than Dying Light crazy. Zombie hoard or town of the undead is an understatement. Maybe 2-minutes this time As expected, Microsoft had a whole lot to show this time around at Xbox E3 2016. Gears of War 4 got a demo on stage; along with Forza Horizon 3 , Final Fantasy XV ,  Tekken 7, Scalebound and Sea of  Thieves . I'm particularly excited for Tekken 7 , as it's been a while since we've played a standalone Tekken game (not a la Tekken 6 part 2 ) - this time with revamped visuals for next-gen. Combat in Final Fantasy XV looks extensive and challenging.  Forza Horizon 3 looks beautiful, as we get to drive on Australian turf, this time around. Last night's Bethesda E3 Showcase recapped in one minute Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is being remastered for PS4, Xbox One and reimagined textures for PC.  Elder Scrolls Online 's brand new DLC Dark Brotherhood will now be available to  Elder Scrolls Online console players. Elder Scrolls Legends , the upcoming Elder Scrolls card game is to be out later this year. Fallout Shelter previously exclusively mobile features a new combat mode and will be released for PC next month. Laptop VS Desktop? Have both. What is a "graphics amplifier"? In essence an external GPU you can plug right into your system. Many companies have tried to release these onto the market, but sadly many haven't gotten past announcement phase. Users either resort to painstakingly building custom external graphics cards with components purchased all over the web or simply tossing aside their laptop and building a $10000 gaming PC for their graphics power needs. Both are acceptable, but Alienware and Razor (or any other company to announce one aain) give you another option: a mini-tower outfitted with a build-in PSU and cooling fan for your graphics power needs. Easier and More Flexible Wouldn't it be great to bring your laptop to work, coming back to your home office 2 hours later and gaming away as if it were that $10000 desktop? What a versatile workstation! No stray red, black and yellow cables sticking out of a shoebox or melted GPUs.

An impressive lineup this year for EA's upcoming titles Battlefield 1 Today's EA E3 Conference revealed many anticipated releases later this year or early next year. Some of which include the much talked-about Battlefield 1; which is slated for a fall release. A trailer showed for the first time here shows brand new gameplay footage this time, rather than the in-engine reveal seen last month. An hour live stream (with numerous celebrity guests including the likes of Zac Efron, Jamie Foxx, Wiz Kalifa and Snoop Dogg) showed the game being played in front of an audience for the first time. It's beautifully satisfying. Titanfall 2  Titanfall also made an appearance with exclusive gameplay coverage and an all-new campaign feature - a first for the franchise - encapsulating the relationship between man and titan.
