"Prissy Little Chloe" - Grab Your FREE Audiobook!

Hey guys, I've just recorded a free Audiobook of "Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year" - grab yours here! http://jaden28.wix.com/plcaudiobookfree It took me all and all about a month to pull this project together. I had to dig up all my journal entries, from when I first got my puppy; and to celebrate the Holiday season, I wrote a cartoon novel about my - and Chloe's - favorite time of the year and how I ended up with the little troublemaker I have now! Be on the lookout for "Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year" which will be available on the Amazon Kindle store in a few days!

Tree Wars - Fake Pine or Real?

With better looking fake tress can you tell the difference? Still hoping I'm not the only one now deciding on this. For those of us late in the game deciding whether to buy a real tree - the good ones are probably all gone already. Where were you, seriously? They've been out since late October. If you're still here, the great Holiday debate remains to be the big "Should I buy a tree this year?" I for one love the smell - except when you leave it an extra month after Christmas and it starts to smell like putrid egg water. Other than that, they're obviously beautiful! Except when they poke you in the eye when you reach down low to get your gift (that looks like Santa really didn't want you to have, as it's pushed strangely near the egg water.) It becomes more of a problem when pine needles fall every four seconds, which gets worse if you leave it for three months like I do and they really become desiccated rotten egg-leaves. ...

So close to buying this guitar for Christmas

I was at Best Buy yesterday - yeah Best Buy, not Amoeba Music or anything like that. Do they even sell instruments there? That doesn't make me look bad at all, not knowing what I'm even writing about. Oh yeah, there was this guitar that more or less looked this this: Worst part is I was lined up to buy it. For $300. But it was a Les Paul! Not Gibson though, an Epiphone, but still a good build - except it wasn't at all. It was missing the first string, the paint was chipping off and the neck was falling apart. I'm a jazz guitarist and I've had my guitar for eight years. Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking "It's a guitar, it never goes out of date". Well maybe not out of date, but my guitar is in the same condition anyway: the pick-up switch doesn't work (probably because the pick-ups fell out), the whammy bar can't screw in and the paint bubbled and chipped somehow. So yes, I'd buy another guitar in less-than-horrible condition i...

This Holiday Season - Someone better get my dog and I an iPad

Wow! I can't believe it's already been a year since last Christmas. It's crazy, yet expected since stores have been shelving out decorations since October. There seem to be a lot of cool, new gadgets for people to jot onto their lists this year - I personally like the new iPad Pro. It doesn't help so much that I'm a tech junkie -  worse I'm a total Apple freak. So I can't help myself. The reason I like the iPad Pro is not for its ridiculous size, but the $100 stylus, it doesn't come with. Besides, I can use it to awkwardly take videos of my dog running about and hope I don't trip and smash the thing. My dog Chloe and I can curl up on the couch this winter by the warmth of the fire and watch Disney princess movies all day! Yeah, I've been doing that practically every Christmas Break. I don't know why I still call it that, I was home-schooled in high school and I'm college-aged now, so I don't *actually* get a holiday break, but like th...
