So close to buying this guitar for Christmas

I was at Best Buy yesterday - yeah Best Buy, not Amoeba Music or anything like that. Do they even sell instruments there? That doesn't make me look bad at all, not knowing what I'm even writing about. Oh yeah, there was this guitar that more or less
looked this this:

Worst part is I was lined up to buy it. For $300. But it was a Les Paul! Not Gibson though, an Epiphone, but still a good build - except it wasn't at all. It was missing the first string, the paint was chipping off and the neck was falling apart. I'm a jazz guitarist and I've had my guitar for eight years. Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking "It's a guitar, it never goes out of date". Well maybe not out of date, but my guitar is in the same condition anyway: the pick-up switch doesn't work (probably because the pick-ups fell out), the whammy bar can't screw in and the paint bubbled and chipped somehow. So yes, I'd buy another guitar in less-than-horrible condition if it says "Les Paul" on it. I don't look at price - I'm easily a brand-name kind of girl. I can see why my mom gets my monthly bank statement.

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Review - Part 3

FORZA MOTORSPORT 6: APEX Favorite Gameplay Component My favorite gameplay component of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is altering and tailoring my driving style to the conditions of the race. If ever I attempt to reach top-speed on a wet track such as Brands Hatch United Kingdom, the vehicle spins off track and out of control. That’s a challenge for me, as my strategy isn’t so much into drifting, but in staying as straight as possible, so that I can reach over to 200 km/h -- keeping within a controllable limit. Another method of mine I had to retire -- and this is coming from the likes of Asphalt 6: Airborne and Mario Kart Double Dash - - which is ramming into players. I quickly found out in a vehicle simulator under the laws of natural physics, this reduces my speed on impact. There are also frequent bottlenecks at turning points in the track; luckily I can use my best strategy and I find this to be the best opportunity to strategically slip past other cars when an opening ...

What Went Wrong With ME Andromeda's Facial Animations

It's in the Eyes The human iris has a natural in half-moon shape, with the upper eyelids covering nearly half of the iris. In Mass Effect Andromeda, the characters' irises are dead in the center of their eyes, with the upper lids way too high for it to look anything but unnerving. To top it off, most of the characters' eyes are far too wide and the lower lids are way too low - which only adds to the creepiness factor - especially during a lengthy conversation. Characters like Addison, have faces that simply look frozen in shock. The characters in Andromeda, also have extremely prominent pupils; and to top it off, their eyes constantly dart about unnaturally. This not in regular saccades like we do when looking back and forth between subjects. Coupled with very wide eyes, this looks downright terrifying. Horrendous Facial Expressions To make matters worse, the mouths of many characters in Andromeda...
