Gaming Platform Exclusivity - Who Wins That Game?

A Daring Expedition - no. A Dangerous Endeavour. Tired of my drama? In layman's terms, it's a risk. Why can't we play God of War or Uncharted on Xbox; and of course, what about Halo? How about Heavy Rain? The most recent example is Rise of the Tomb Raider's for the Xbox One - released on the same day as Fallout 4 actually. Hmm. Choosing game release dates. I could write a whole post about that, but the gist of it is do not have two games scheduled for the same release date! It did not do Tomb Raider justice; we've been waiting for some 5 years for Fallout 4. I'm not sure if they thought people would happily bundle the two when they line up outside Gamestop at 12 midnight, to sort of ride off Bethesda. In short, it apparently didn't work. Now they have to bundle it with an Xbox to make up for it. Which brings back to the topic at hand. 2013's Tomb Raider is hands-down my favourite game reboot, ever. Where would games...

Chanel Glasses Review

I mentioned in the last post I love need brand-named products and in the first post that goes out to Apple. I'll line up every year for their new iPhone - except the past two. My dad got me an Android Note and I've been stuck with it ever since. Don't get me wrong it's not horrible - it was a nice thought and a lot of people actually like Android. It's not that I don't like Android either, it's got its perks; just moving from using only iOS since I was ten years old to Android - is to say the least, agony. Especially from an Apple fan boy girls's perspective. I love iMessage and well everything about Apple, they can do no wrong in my eyes. Except for maybe the questionable price points. I mean $22,000 for an iWatch? (edit: Apple Watch, as they couldn't get the patent for that.) What?!? I get it, it's gold, 18-karat at that. I'm no jeweler, but I'm sure I can travel to Dubai for let's say $1000 and still get three times as much gold, ...

So close to buying this guitar for Christmas

I was at Best Buy yesterday - yeah Best Buy, not Amoeba Music or anything like that. Do they even sell instruments there? That doesn't make me look bad at all, not knowing what I'm even writing about. Oh yeah, there was this guitar that more or less looked this this: Worst part is I was lined up to buy it. For $300. But it was a Les Paul! Not Gibson though, an Epiphone, but still a good build - except it wasn't at all. It was missing the first string, the paint was chipping off and the neck was falling apart. I'm a jazz guitarist and I've had my guitar for eight years. Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking "It's a guitar, it never goes out of date". Well maybe not out of date, but my guitar is in the same condition anyway: the pick-up switch doesn't work (probably because the pick-ups fell out), the whammy bar can't screw in and the paint bubbled and chipped somehow. So yes, I'd buy another guitar in less-than-horrible condition i...
